Can
you hear me now?
A camera man from an ABC-TV affiliate in Chicago shoots
footage for the Aug. 27 edition of “Good Morning America”
as Tate Kubose (right), a postdoctoral fellow in the department
of psychology, instructs graduate student Stefanie Kuchinsky
on using a driving simulator at the Beckman Institute for
Advanced Science and Technology. A research project and
paper by Beckman’s Human Perception and Performance
Group on driver impairment and cell phone usage, which was
published in the most recent edition of Applied Cognitive
Psychology, has generated interest from national media. |
