Nancy Ann Christiansen, 72, died May 3 in Statesboro, Ga. Christiansen retired from the UI after 20 years of service. Memorials: American Cancer Society, 515 Denmark St., Suite 500, Statesboro, GA 30458.
Richard Cunnington, 76, died May 9 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana. He retired from the UI in 1993 after 37 years as an instrument technician with the School of Life Sciences.
Anita Kaye Herthel, 65, died May 4 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. Herthel worked as a School of Chemical Sciences storeroom clerk at Roger Adams Lab for nine years. Memorials: American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
John Marquis House IV, 57, died May 4 at his Champaign home. House was an adjunct professor of social work and also had worked as an instructor at the Police Training Institute. Memorials: Benedictine College Scholarship Fund, 1020 N. Second St., Atchison, KS 66002, or www.caringbridge.org.
