Brief: Publications releases new Facts
The Office of Publications has released its newest issue of the Facts
brochure, a pocket-sized collection of facts and figures about academic
programs, resources and services on the UI campus.
Facts is part of the all-university publication series, which also includes
Illinois Reviewed, a tabloid featuring articles published in national
newspapers and magazines; the visitors guide and map; a booklet on the
University Library; and information sheets that cover campus landmarks,
Nobel Prize winners, rankings among national institutions and more.
Publications in the series are available free or at cost.
"It is important for campus units to have current information available
for distribution to prospective students, faculty members and donors at
reasonable costs," said Carol Menaker, director of Publications. Last
year, her office distributed 29,000 free publications and 34,000 at cost.
More information about the publications in the series is available by
calling 333-9200.
