Mutual Benefit Life update

On Jan. 28, the Superior Court of New Jersey issued an order approving the
final plan of rehabilitation for Mutual Benefit Life and its policyholders'
communication materials. Beginning Monday and continuing over a 10-day
period, MBL expects to mail to eligible policyholders election packets. MBL
participants have until April 4 to exercise their options of withdrawing
their funds or leaving them with the restructured MBL.

Informational meetings on campus likely will be scheduled in early March,
according to Pete Czajkowski, UI assistant vice president for business and
finance. MBL participants will be notified directly by the UI of the times
and dates of the meetings.
