Brief: Proposal-writing workshop set for April

The Research Services Office is offering a proposal development institute
for faculty members in education with an individual research orientation
who have projects that need funding or who wish to polish their development
skills.

The institute will be from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 1. The institute will
consist of an introduction to the proposal process, a proposal-writing
workshop and sessions on peer review, proposal budgets and processing.

The $30 fee for the institute includes lunch. Registration is limited to 15
faculty members and requires a commitment to attend the entire session.

Participants must submit a two- to three-page writing assignment in
advance; no other preparation is necessary.
