Brief: Nominations sought for staff awards

Nominations for the 11th annual Chancellor's Distinguished Staff Award
Program, which recognizes outstanding staff contributions to the UI, are
due Dec. 2.

As many as eight support-staff members will be honored this year. Those
selected will receive a $1,000 award, a plaque of appreciation, and a
recognition dinner in March. The recipients' names will be added to a
permanent plaque in the Personal Services Office that commemorates each
year's recipients.

Any member of the campus community can nominate. Nomination forms and a
detailed program description are available in 151 Personnel Services Office
or by calling 333-3101.
