The Office of International Student Affairs will offer a workshop for faculty and staff members who have substantial contact with international students. The afternoon workshop, "Understanding the Campus Experience for International Students: University Staff Creating a More Inclusive Environment" will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Levis Faculty Center. The aim of the workshop is to heighten the awareness of the role and functions of the Office of International Student Affairs, to provide an overview of basic immigration regulations that govern the non-immigrant status of international students and to increase the participants' understanding of cross-cultural dynamics. Registration is required and will be limited to 60 participants. There is no cost; however, participants are expected to attend the entire workshop. The workshop will be repeated next semester on demand. Reservations may be made by calling 333-1303.
