Brief: Nominees sought for counseling awards

Nominations are sought for Robert P. Larsen Human
Development Awards, created by the Counseling Center to
recognize those who enhance student development and maximize
student capabilities.

Separate awards are given to an individual and to a group
making a significant contribution to the campus consistent
with the general mission of the Counseling Center.

Any person or group within the university community (except
individuals associated with the Counseling Center) is
eligible. Preference will be given to students or student
groups. Self-nomination is welcome.

The award is named in honor of Robert P. Larsen, who has
been a staff member at the center for more than 50 years.

Winners will receive $200 and a plaque and their names will
be added to the permanent plaque in the Counseling Center.

Nomination materials should be sent by March 10 to James
Sipich, Chair, Robert P. Larsen Awards Committee, Counseling
Center, 337 McKinley Health Center.
