Brief: KAM's spring luncheon lecture set

An authority on Dutch 17th-century painting will speak at
the Krannert Art Museum Council's Spring Lecture Luncheon.

Kahren Jones Arbitman, director of the Palmer Museum of Art
at Pennsylvania State University, will speak on "The Sources
for Rembrandt and Rembrandt as a Source" on March 23 at the
Champaign Country Club, 1211 S. Prospect Ave., Champaign.

Arbitman earned her doctorate from the University of
Pittsburgh and was curator at Frick Art Museum, Pittsburgh.

The event begins at 11:30 a.m. with a welcome and cash bar.
Lunch will be served at noon, and the lecture will begin at
12:45 p.m.

The cost for museum members is $13; nonmembers, $14. Members
may attend the lecture only for free; nonmembers pay $5 for
the lecture. Paid luncheon reservations are due March 17.
