Brief: Unit co-sponsors seminar for caregivers

The Office of Gerontology and Aging Studies at the UI will
co-sponsor a seminar on "Anxiety and Mood Disorders in the
Elderly" from noon to 4 p.m. March 30 at the Champaign Inn
on North Neil Street.

The seminar, aimed at professional and paraprofessional
caregivers of the elderly, is a "what" and "how to
intervene" lecture/discussion designed to enhance knowledge
and skills to more effectively recognize and treat anxiety
and mood disorders in the elderly.

Registration is $10 and includes materials, luncheon,
refreshments, and CEU's and/or certificates of attendance.
