Brief: Kinley lecture scheduled for March 30
Hal Varian, the Reuben Kempf Professor of Economics at the
University of Michigan, will deliver the David Kinley
Lecture on March 30 at the Beckman Institute.
His lecture will begin at 4 p.m. in the Beckman auditorium
and is free and open to the public.
Varian has written on a broad range of subjects, including
industrial organization and justice and ethics in economics.
His lecture, "The Economics of the Internet," will discuss
how the Internet might be priced and how ownership of the
computer networking system might evolve in the future.
