Brief: MillerComm talk looks at Earth, spirit

Daniel Martin, director of the International Coordinating
Committee on Religion and the Earth, will speak at 8 p.m.
April 5 in Lincoln Hall theater.

His MillerComm 95 talk, "Ecological Education and the
Restoration of the Human Spirit," is free and open to the
public.

Martin, who studied under Thomas Berry, author of "Dream of
the Earth," at Fordham University, is an adviser to the
United Nations' environment program. He also is one of the
principal authors of "An Earth Charter," which is being used
as a foundation document in strategic planning at the
Centers for Disease Control and environment programs at
universities.
