Help is available for end-of-semester stressed-out student
The end of the semester brings students heightened tension and stress with
final exams, project deadlines, graduation and the impending return home
for the summer.
Faculty and staff members are reminded to be alert for students who are
suffering unduly, showing signs of panic, depression, anxiety, excessive
fatigue, avoidance or confusion, says Patricia E. Askew, interim vice
chancellor for student affairs. They may need help in seeking assistance.
