Brief: Kids sought for storytelling study
African-American children between the ages of 4 and 8 are needed for a
study of their storytelling abilities, being conducted by Adele Proctor,
professor of speech and hearing science.
Parents, guardians or relatives of a child between 4 and 8 years old who
culturally identifies as African American and who are interested in
participating in her research should call Proctor at 244-2554.
Children's stories will be recorded on audio and video tape in Proctor's
children's lab on campus and in the children's homes.
Participants in the study will receive a free speech, language and hearing
screening and a free movie.
