Brief: Second Sunday concert features choir

WILL-FM's October Second Sunday Concert will feature the UI Concert Choir,
directed by music professor Chester Alwes.

The 45-member choir, the most advanced undergraduate mixed choir in the UI
School of Music, will sing anthems by Henry Purcell in honor of the 300th
anniversary of Purcell's death, and music commemorating the end of World
War II.

The concert, at 2 p.m. Oct. 8, will be broadcast live on WILL-FM from the
Krannert Art Museum and Kinkead Pavilion. John Frayne will host the
broadcast.
