Brief: Latino showcase to be held Nov. 3-4

The Illini Union Board will sponsor "Sabor Latino '95" - a showcase of
Latino comedy, music and food - on Nov. 3- 4.

Willie Barcena, a Latino comedian from East Los Angeles, will perform at 7
p.m. Nov. 3 in Lincoln Hall Theater. A dance featuring salsa, cumbia,
merengue and Spanish rock music will follow immediately in the Illini
Union's Illini Rooms B and C . Admission will be charged for both.

Samples of Latino food will be available at noon Nov. 4 in the Illini Rooms
of the Illini Union. Tickets will be sold for food purchases. During the
food fair, Latina/o student organizations and a steel drum band will
perform.
