Brief: Union cooks sell baked goods for holidays

If you want homemade desserts on your Thanksgiving menu, but the thought of
your hands making them gives you pause, consider allowing the Illini Union
cooks to bake for you.

The cooks are selling nine-inch pies - apple for $5.85, pumpkin for $5.60
and pecan for $8.30, as well as Swedish limpa bread for $3.60, carrot layer
cake for $11.85, dinner rolls for $2.95 a dozen, and pecan rolls for $10.65
a dozen.

Orders must be placed by noon Nov. 20. They may be made by calling 333-1140
or by returning an order form to 165 Illini Union, MC-384.

Baked goods will be available for pickup between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Nov. 22
in the Union's Colonial Room. Free parking will be provided that day in the
D-10 lot, just east of the Union.

Prices include sales tax. Payment may be made by UI ID, or by American
Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit cards.
